O2 have sponsored 'Pool of Life' with a donation of £1000.

April 2008

Awards for All Lottery Grant, 'Pool of Life were awarded a grant of £6796 to enable us to set up a project to paddle the Leeds to Liverpool Canal in a Dragon Boat. The aim is to raise awareness of early detection of breast cancer can save lives and how physical exercise plays a vital part in keeping healthy and showing people that there is life after breast cancer.

September 2007

MacMillan Cancer Support awarded 'Pool of Life' with a grant of £900 to set up a website and for the printing of publicity materials promoting 'Pool of Life' as a floating support group combined with physical exercise and to raise breast awareness.

January 2006

The Paradise Project awarded 'Pool of Life' a grant of £8,000 to purchase a Dragon Boat and equipment to enable Breast Cancer survivors to participate in the sport of Dragon Boat Racing.

Also, small donations are given all the time by members of 'Pool of Life' and their family and friends.
